Chris Stickney in St. George is getting ready to build a 10-foot double ender, similar in looks to a canoe/kayak, which is for use on fresh water. Johanson Boat Works in Rockland has a number of great projects underway. In one bay is a Sabre 36 is having her engine replaced. She had a Westerbeke die- sel and this is being replaced with a Beta 14. They will also do some brightwork and her annual maintenance. A Sabre 40 has had her topsides Awl-
gripped. They also did deck and anchor locker work, rebuilt the windlass, and added new port lights.
