Dry Gulch
Location: 4.5 km south of Radium Hot Springs offers a shady retreat under the peaks of the Standford Range amid the Rocky Mountains.
15 James Chabot
At the north end of Windermere Lake, 3 km off Highway 93/95 at the Invermere access road, activities include windsurfing, canoeing and kayaking.
32 16 Mount Assiniboine
BC/Alberta border 48 km southwest of Banff. most popular hiking trails start from Kootenay National Park to the west and from Spray Lakes, south of Canmore, Alberta. Popular activities include camping, hiking, mountain climbing, as well as fishing and ski touring in the winter. During the summer, campsites are on a first- come, first-serve basis. During summer and winter, reservations can be made for the Hind Hut and Naiset Huts by contacting Mount Assiniboine Lodge.

Access is from Highway 93/95, 72 km north of Cranbrook; the well-marked turnoff leads east to park encompasses 4 smaller lakes popular for fishing: Canuck, Yankee, Cats Eye, and Quartz.
