ed Heritage started swimming with Water Babies from three months old and has just graduated and gone into main stream swimming at four years old. His mum Joan describes his experience with Water Babies:

“Yesterday, Ted had his final lesson at Water Babies. He was so sad as Dawn has been an excellent teacher and good friend to Ted. He always had a special place for Dawn and the hugs were very important to him. He never left the pool until he had given Dawn a hug and a loud “Thank you”.


It made all his lessons seem so worthwhile, after all the trouble he had with earache and


his period in hospital. On his final day he was so thrilled to show everyone that he could swim with confidence “All by myself” and it was a joy to watch his enthusiasm.”
