Lord Mayor’s Show
The City of London Solicitors’ Company once again entered into the spirit of the Lord Mayor’s Show with a special celebration to mark its own Junior Warden, Alderman Fiona Woolf being sworn in as Lord Mayor. The theme of this year’s show was “The Energy of Life” which the Company portrayed as “Switched on Lawyers” with a colourful array of energy-related windmills, flames, water, electricity pylons and magnificient over-sized lightbulbs to mark the Lord Mayor’s career as an energy and infrastructure lawyer at CMS Cameron McKenna LLP.
Once again the Company was pleased to work with Harlesden-based Mahogany Carnival who produced the spectacular costumes which entertained the crowds who turned out to line the route, despite this year’s inclement weather.
