DIAMOND COMPANIES AND ROBERTS TRUCK CENTER MERGE Diamond Companies and Roberts


Truck Center have merged effective January 1, 2014. The new enterprise will deliver a higher standard of value to customers in seven states. Customers will benefit from the new company’s broader footprint in the marketplace and a consistent service experience across all locations. This merger is a new beginning for two successful truck and bus dealerships. The combined enterprise will be an even more efficient transportation solutions provider that is better able to compete in the rapidly changing commercial truck and bus industry. The company plans to contin- ue to grow and build on its reputation for integrity, quality, and service. The two privately held, family


businesses have very similar cultures and are both committed to serving their customers and communities. The company employs 1,300 people at 29 locations in 26 markets in Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas and Tennessee. The new enterprise is privately held com- pany and the key principals remain in their leadership positions. Corporate functions of the new entity will be directed from several locations for the foreseeable future. The new company has revenues approaching $1 billion.
