Process with Pest Problems
for answers to the problem. If your customers cannot control the pest, there is a good chance they won’t be looking to buy that plant next year. However, if you don’t carry the plant, and your customers are unaware of the problem, they may simply look for the plant elsewhere. In this case you may want to consider ways to educate them, and offer solutions. Often, we can plan a crop that has a known pest problem by considering a few factors about the pest. Whether it’s a new pest or one that has been around for a while, you can always lay
out all the impacts and risks the pest presents to guide you. Remember, your business is unique and only you can make this decision.
