This boat was constructed using mahogany plywood and unfortunately she has been out of the water for the last two years and needed some hull work and paint. Her interior includes a queen-size berth forward, head to starboard and shower to port. The galley is up in the shelter along with a settee and table that will drop down and create another berth. This project will be completed this winter. A J-44 was found to have wet core on her port side, which entered through the tran- som. They stripped 18 feet of her topsides as well as a portion of the transom. They then recored and re-glassed the damaged area and Awlgripped when they were done. They also suspect that the deck may have some issues. A J 40 has just been fi nished, also suffer- ing from wet core that gained entry through the transom. This project took approximate- ly eight weeks to complete and she was also Awlgripped. A Sabre 40 was in for cosmetic work, repairs to her mast step and refi nishing the interior.
