To celebrate the launch of the first new-style Post Office in Edinburgh, I was delighted to cut the ribbon at an opening ceremony at the Liberton Gardens Post Office. Everyone knows how important the post


office network is in our community. These changes will be welcomed by customers who can now take advantage of additional opening hours


and the investment to modernise the shop itself. I wish the agent, Mrs Latif and the family every success with the business. The new look Post Office has three serving


positions - a mixture of two screened counter positions and a Post Office serving point at the retail counter - a new concept for delivering Post Office services during shop opening hours.
