Building Society has extended its range of 95 per cent mortgages to include new build proper- ties.


Society chief executive Andrew Lewis said: “It reaffirmsthe supportthe society is giving regionally to both first time buyers and house builders.” The mutual society,


which has its head office in John Frost Square, Newport, recently announced another excel- lent set of annual results, inwhich its assets grew to arecord £885m, up from £819m the previous year. In the 12 months to April


30, 2013, it experienced 8.1 per cent growth,while profit after tax reached £3.1m.

Enzygoopens Monmouth office

from athree-man startupin 2008 into athriving consul- tancyhaving alreadyestab- lished twoother offices,in Bristol and Sheffield, an

With disciplines covering waste planning, permitting, flood risk, renewables,noise, ecology,geotechnical and contaminated land, the com- pany is looking to expand its team further in 2013 and beyond. an alreadysizeable list of Welsh-based clients.Among its recent projects,Enzygo was responsible for obtain- ing abat licencewhich allowedMonmouthshire Council to carry out routine maintenance work on the historic MonnowBridge in Monmouth. Having already confirmed the presence of bats under the bridge in 2012, Enzygo worked closely with the contractors to ensure the


roost was not disturbed while the work was carried out. In another significant project, Enzygo,bycarrying out environmental impact assessments,obtained the permit to enable Swansea Drydocks to become aship breaking yard. Enzygo is also currently carrying out flood modelling in Denbigh to look at the feasibility of redeveloping aformer mill site to residential use.
