Crispus Attucks Cultural Center Receives Check from Wells Fargo Foundation

RISE! program with a check for $12,500. The donation was made on behalf of George Ball, Market Executive South Hampton Roads and Penny J. McPherson, Senior Community Development Officer with Wells Fargo.

we know we can only be as strong as the communities we serve, and we believe that by funding educational programs for the youth we are helping to create the community leaders of tomorrow,” said Ball. “Education in the performing arts will help these young leaders throughout their lives and Wells Fargo is happy to contribute to the type of growth opportunities that the RISE! program at Crispus Attucks Cultural Center provides.”

The Tidewater Chapter of the Virginia State University Alumni Association presents the award-winning Virginia State University Gospel Chorale in concert. Proceeds benefit the Tidewater Alumni Chapter Endowed Scholarship Fund which supports Hampton Roads students who attend Virginia State University. The Chorale recently performed on America's Got Talent.
