Highlighted by three record- breaking performances, Cochran native Jessi Young was honored
as the Peach Belt Conference Freshman of the Year in addition to being named to the PBC All- Conference Second Team.
Young’s first school record occurred when she finished in second place with a time of 21:12 at the 3rd Annual Georgia Southwestern Remembrance Run.
She went on to capture her first career collegiate event as she topped her own school record to
