The 0450 tool case has been specifically designed for the toughest offshore conditions. Peli cases have been chosen by leading Offshore Wind Energy companies for their renowned qualities in protecting sensitive equipment. The cases are certified to IP67 and offer superior crushproof, waterproof protection in extreme conditions.
ENGINEERS TOOL KIT This 0450 model is used for the Engineers Tool Kit; where dual colour custom foam enables easy identification of missing items. There are seven removable drawers, offering a multitude of configurations, with the mobility and benefits of a rugged, watertight Peli Protector™ Case.
DEMANDING STANDARDS Holding up to 45kgs of tools, the 0450 has been tested to meet and exceed 96 demanding standards, including high impact, extreme temperatures and submersion. The top compartment features a removable utility tray and a lid that opens 180° to create a mobile work area, capable of supporting up to 23kg of weight.
WORKING WITH INDUSTRY The company has worked closely over a number of years with many leading Offshore Wind Energy companies to provide ruggedised storage and transport solutions that can withstand the rigours of the harsh marine environment.
By combining Peli Protector Cases with custom foam interiors, solutions have been designed for: Winch/Hoist Kits, Electrical Test Equipment,
Accumulator Top Kits, Pendulum Bearing Kits and Coolant
Top Up Kits. DELTA MODULES
A number of UK sites have now chosen to use the specifically designed case for Delta Modules; these modules are large and heavy and have to be transported in safety to and from the offshore turbines for installation and maintenance.
Peli Products UK, experts in protective packaging solutions, designed a large Peli Hardigg case to protect the module from the severe weather conditions and improve manual handling. This case has been designed with a custom foam insert to fit the module exactly; limiting movement in transit and protecting the unit, ensuring the module reaches the destination dry and in perfect condition. It has now become the benchmark packaging for the Delta modules.
The company continues to work closely alongside the renewable industry, creating solutions for storage and transportation in the challenging offshore environment. Their product range is ideally suited for these conditions, the majority of cases are watertight and corrosion proof and there are over 70 sizes in the range.
