customers meet demand by providing a reliable supply of Therminol 66. This investment is consistent with our vision to remain the global leader in high temperature heat transfer fluids.” Edwina Hart said: “Iampleased the


Welsh Government has been able to support this project which is of key importance to the advanced materials and manufacturing sector which is one of our key sectors for growth. This project will not only create 17 jobs and safeguard afurther 216, it will have significant supply chain benefits for the local economy.”

Adventurershelp build hotelroomonBenNevis

WOWELSH adventurers have completed a challenge to build abudget hotel room on Britain's highest peak.

Morgan, of Cardiff, helped to build a Travelodge hotel room on the top of Ben Nevis for the first time in a century. The ‘room with aview’ was


constructed by ateam of 36 from the hotel brand Travelodge to raise £50,000 for Macmillain Cancer Support.


Development manager Mr Tyler,


and Regional Facilities Manager Mr Morgan, climbed the 1,344 metre peak carrying the contents and furnishing of Travelodge’s new room. The team, led by Paul Harvey, who


is also Travelodge’s Managing Director for Property &International embarked on their quest at 6.30am on June 27. The team spent fours hours


ascending Ben Nevis, two hours constructing the room and two hours and 30 minutes to descend. This is only the second time in


recorded history that ahotel room has been built on the summit of Ben Nevis. During 1894 to 1916 the Temperance hotel provided accommodation for climbers during the summer months. Steve Tyler said: “The team are


absolutely thrilled to have accomplished the mission and it is a great feeling of achievement, as not many people can say they have carried and built ahotel room on top of Britain’s highest mountain. “In support of our quest, we are


delighted to have raised over £60,000 for our nominated charity Macmillan
