Wyoming Mustang Days Competition! The Bureau of Land Management

Fourth Annual Mustang Days will be held August 12 – 17, 2013, at the Wyoming State Fair in Douglas, Wyoming. Opening ceremonies for the Wild Horse Show, Trainer Showcase & Adoption will feature the U.S. Border Patrol mounted on formerly wild horses. This event is a great opportunity to see what trained mustangs can do; and to watch and learn from experienced trainers while they gentle and train wild horses. The Open Horse Show will take

place Friday, August 16. The show is for mustang adopters or owners (youngsters and adults) who wish to showcase their horses and have a chance at winning saddles or other quality tack. Contestants can also visit with other adopters and their horses — something returning contestants look forward to every year. There is no charge to enter the competition. A large variety of classes include

Western equitation, green horse versatility and adult and youth freestyle. A highlight
