The Thames Valley and Chiltern Air Ambulance...
he Thames Valley and Chiltern Air Ambulance Trust is an independent charitable trust providing a lifesaving service for the counties of Berkshire, Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire, including Milton Keynes.
T
The Charity’s aim is to bring rapid medical attention when and where it is needed in the quickest possible time. Our distinctive red and yellow helicopter, affectionately named Air Ambulance BOB, is manned by a regular doctor-led crew, who are highly trained and who deliver the highest level of medical care to those in need.
Air Ambulance BOB operates 12 hours a day, 365 days a year. On average, BOB is
called out 2-3 times a day to emergency missions involving road traffic collisions, equestrian and sporting accidents and the onset of acute illnesses such as heart attacks and strokes, with each mission costing over £2,500.
Thames Valley and Chiltern Air Ambulance Trust receives no funding from Central Government or the National Lottery. We rely entirely on your charitable donations and fundraising activities to keep this lifesaving service operational!
