289 AN 18TH CENTURY EBONISED MUSICAL BRACKET CLOCK, by Thomas Grimsted, St. Pauls, Church Yard, London, the square section dome top with a brass urn finial, above an arch and a silverised dial with a Roman and Arabic Numerals Signed Thomas Grimsted London, the arch with a pointer hand, towards The Toast, Changes, Catches, and Psalm, the movement with a pull repeat, striking on eight bells, with double fusee movement, ornate engraved back plate, flanked to either side with pierced brass trellis panels, two caryatids, pilaster mounts, and two brass handles, raised on leaf scroll brass legs, 26in (66cm)h x 16in (40cm)w.
