FEDERATION UPDATES HISTORICAL EXHIBIT CONTEST The Florida Federation of Fairs will again offer the His-
torical Display Contest. The purpose of the competition is for Florida Fairs to create displays to educate the public on how their Fair got started and how it has progressed through the years. Photographs of the display, along with short essays, will
be judged and rosette ribbons will be awarded at the 2013 Federation convention, to be held in Naples. Information about the contest is available on the Federation Web site. Entries due by 4 pm, on Thursday of the Convention in
May. Bring your entries with you to the Convention and turn them in at the Registration desk. Please email Carol Reeves, Historical Committee Chair- man, by May 1st at

know of your intent to participate so that she can make appropriate arrangements for judges, awards, etc.
HALL OF FAME AND
ASSOCIATE OF YEAR NOMINATIONS Each year the Florida Federation of Fairs honors individu-
als that have had an impact on our industry and our Asso- ciation through the Hall of Fame Award and the Associate of the Year Award. These prestigious awards are pre- sented at the Annual Convention. We ask your help in nominating deserving individuals for
these awards. Nomination forms may be requested from the Federation office at
lisahinton@floridafairs.org. The deadline for nominations is March 15, 2013

HOSPITALITY SUITE INVITATION
TO PARTICIPATE We hope that you will visit the Hos-
pitality Suite at this year’s annual con- vention. In order to make your visit to the Hospitality Suite even more enjoy- able, we are asking for donations to help defray the costs that are in- curred. The suite committee appreci- ates any donations, whether in-kind or budget relieving. If you would like to send a cash donation (check) please forward these to Lisa Hinton at the Federation.
