Sweet Tragedy


Two of the greatest compositions ever written, Wagner’s Prelude to Tristan and Isolde and Mahler’s transcription of Schubert’s Death and the Maiden, are assembled under the leadership of the NYCP music director, Dongmin Kim. Two emerging artists, Katie Hyun (violin) and Brook Speltz (cello) will perform Wei-Chieh Lin’s Double Concerto for Violin, Cello and Strings commissioned by the NYCP.
