A Golden discovery ... closer than you think!
Being in ‘the middle of everywhere’ as the owners of The Golden Lion would like to say, means that those seeking out this special little pub in the countryside between Redruth, Helston, Falmouth and Truro have a good reason for negotiating the narrow Cornish lanes, infrequent road signs and occasional caravan.
Perhaps it’s The Golden Lion’s reputation for ‘doing really nice food’? Maybe it’s the unspoilt feeling of the place as an old-fashioned Cornish country pub? Or possibly it’s the warmth, friendliness and relaxed ambience that permeates throughout, whether sat gazing out of the restaurant windows or enjoying a drink and a meal al fresco in the beautiful mature gardens with glimpses of the Stithians Lake beyond?
Whatever the individual reason, there is a growing number of ‘those in the know’ who choose to find their way on a regular basis to The Golden Lion Inn to celebrate a special occasion with their loved ones, catch up with friends, or simply grab a bite to eat after a gentle stroll along the shores of the lake.
