She graduated from the USDF with distinction in the “L” judge program. She hopes to pursue her “r” designa- tion within the next few years. Jarayln believes that success in dressage is based upon continuous education and preparation. She is a distinguished rider, competing across the U.S., as well as successfully coaching many riders to their USDF Bronze and Silver medals. Jaralyn has trained with internationally renowned trainers such as Conrad Schumacher, William Warren and Scott Hassler. She is based at Wyndham Oaks Dressage facility in Boyds, and also owns and manages her own Shepherd’s Run Farm, a small training facility in Poolesville, with her husband. Scott Hassler has served three terms as the U.S. national coach and has


renewed his contract to maintain this position through the year 2015. He has been a member of the U.S. Equestrian Federation Dressage Committee since 1999 and has chaired the USDF Sporthorse Commit- tee. He is the sole dressage representative on the USEF Strategic Plan- ning Committee. He helped to start the USEF Young Horse program that has produced outstanding results throughout the past 10 years. His dedication to the continuing success of sport horse breeding has proven to be an extremely positive and successful endeavor, ensuring their suc- cess and durability here in the U.S. He is also a member of the USEF Breeding Committee. Scott is not only a successful trainer and innova- tor in the equestrian community; he has had a fl ourishing career as a professional rider and was a fi nalist for the 1995 Pan American games. He then turned towards the breeding of competitive dressage and warm-


blood sport horses. Scott and his wife Suzanne own and run Hassler Dressage and are continuing to produce, train, and compete internation- ally renowned horses. Royal Prince, a three-time USEF


Breeding Sire of the Year stallion owned by Jane MacElree, is stabled at Hilltop Farm in Colora. T e Hanoverian Verband approved Royal Prince in 2001, who con- sistently scored in the 8s and 9s through- out his inspection. He showcased incred- ible talent as a dressage mount, fi nishing fourth at the FEI World Championships for Young Horses in 2004 with a total score of 8.84, fourth highest overall. Roy- al Prince successfully competed through Prix St. Georges before retiring to stud. His rideability and elegance make him a top choice of breeders, judges, and train- ers across the national and international stages. He has received numerous awards and accolades as a result of the high achievements of his off spring. His accomplishments both under saddle and at stud have made him one of the most infl uential stallions throughout the sport horse industry. Many of his off spring are currently competing across a wide variety of disci- plines including dressage and eventing, as well as on the hunter/jumper circuits.
