MeLNA Web site
www.melna.org Continues to Evolve!
By Sue Brown, MELNA Web Site Administrator A great resource for MELNA members is the newly revamped
Web site at
http://www.melna.org. It features a calendar for keeping track of meetings and events, and
a new Event Registration page where members may register themselves for MELNA sponsored conferences, fundraisers, and get-togethers. Next time, instead of printing and mailing forms with paper checks, enter your information online and use PayPal for instant sign-up. Another addition is the Employment Opportunities page.
Anyone who is looking for a nursery or landscaping position, or any business that would like to advertise such an opening, may contact Don Sproul or me with pertinent details. Te page is meant to serve as a Classified Ad section and will hopefully become a useful service for those in the field.

Tose of you who have not yet logged into the site and designated one of the eight Maine Regions for your business are encouraged to do so. Future customers looking for local members may choose a region in the Search engine rather than a zip code. At this point in time there are 265 entries in the member directory.
Seventy-two members have registered with a password so they may edit their contact details and access the Members Only section of the site. Te Notices, Information, and Donation pages there are ready to be utilized. We hope that all members will eventually post their logos and mini galleries of photos to their virtual business cards in the directory. Someone once said that a picture is worth a thousand words! If anyone needs help, please don’t hesitate to write me at sb@black
birdwebdesign.com. I can talk you through the process—or will be more than happy to upload your graphics for you if you wish.
