A one-off tracking system, similar to those employed by the main integrators, allows for embedded tracking links to be sent to customers via e-mail directly from the application, for use with the tracking application. A fully customisable web-based track and trace


application is available which allows forwarders to expose shipment, movement and, where appropriate, warehousing stock data to their clients. Users can design and deploy their own layout templates for exposing data detail to their clients on a client by client basis to further refine and optimise the services they can offer. Further, it is possible to process freight bookings and quotations via the web application as well as allowing clients the ability to upload and download documents and other media files to and from shipments. DataFreight is a highly scalable set of applications used
