Welcome Letter


Dear Attendee: On behalf of the Advisory Board, welcome to the 2012 Green California Summit.


Te environmental goals and policies that California has established have set the pace for sus- tainability programs throughout the country. Moreover, and more notably, they have also cre- ated unique opportunities for technology innovation, job creation and economic growth within the state.


All Californians can play a role in making the most of these opportunities. Tis annual event is intended to assist such efforts by helping attendees stay up to date on developments in policy, best practices and exciting new developments in green technology.


Te most important outcome of the Green California Summit may well be the programs and projects that are created or improved as a result of the information, understanding and relation- ships that are gained here. We hope that you will take advantage of all the summit has to offer you, and leave armed with ideas and resources that can bring you success in your efforts to reduce costs, reduce waste and be an advocate for green technology in the coming year.
