GOD/GODDESS HAPPINESS HARMONY HEALING HEALTH

FREEDOM DEAR FELLOW ADVENTURERS

THANK YOU ALL so much for your wonderful feedback on our March issue and our new look. We are very excited in the office that it has gone down so well, and I am personally grateful for everyone’s support and enthusiasm. It was gratifying that other ‘old ducks’ like me were also thrilled with the new look. It just goes to show that we should

all follow our dreams and do what inspires and excites us, as now that I am publishing what I want to, and not what I think everyone wanted, I am much happier – and just to think that all along everyone wanted something different anyway! I was speaking with Stella Woods, our astrology writer, the other day. She told me the good feedback she’d had also, and she was under the impression that I published the magazine like it was because I liked it like that, and she admitted she thought it probably had something to do with my age. ;-) Now all we need is for all the advertisers to change to a more modern look and we’ll be happy little campers. If you are an advertiser and want help with that, please ask. We’re brimming with ideas and designs! This issue I am sure you’ll not

only enjoy the look but also the articles again. A.C. Ping, the guy who wrote the article last issue about chronic drama syndrome, has given us another beauty this issue – about being delusional instead of depressed. It’s a life changer for anyone who is having trouble getting out of thinking in a realistic way about

something that is not going right in their lives ... apart from the stunning message about depression itself, and based on Martin Seligman’s theories. I love the way that Spirit presents us

with themes all the while, even though we were not planning them. So this issue the themes running through a few articles are around mind and dreams and changing your mind to dream something different … and that calls on looking at the past, present and future. That is also a theme in a few articles that point out that we create our reality through our stories (ie, like my story that everyone wanted a magazine of a certain look), and that if we continue telling the same story, then we lock ourselves into the same future. This fits so well into the messages that lots of our advertisers tell too. We also present you with a

couple of issues to look at – the ‘war on homoeopathy’ as reported in the Sydney Morning Herald and The Age in mid-March. Isn’t it significant that so many other countries totally espouse homoeopathy and it is such a powerful and ‘sweet’ way to treat our bodies and minds, and yet the powers-that-be here are trying to stamp it out? Could it have anything to do with the fact that it is such a cheap healing modality? The article sets out a few facts for you to consider. Visit a homoeopath yourself and see how efficacious it is before judging … remember not to lock yourself into those past stories ;-)

The other issue for you to read about

here is that of smart meters – try not to touch them! I have great news – we started a

separate WA edition last month, and now, serendipitously, the magazine you are holding in your hands goes to your own state only. The differences are small at this stage, having happened only yesterday – and I’m not joking! We just swung into action and made it happen when we saw the opening. The story pages are the same over the whole four states of WA, QLD, NSW and VIC – it’s in the Ripple section that the pages change, from page 29 in this issue. Do ask us for advertising rates as

in future you will know that you can advertise and speak only to readers in your own state. Interestingly, we used to offer one-

state issues a few years ago, and our advertising rates are now cheaper than they were then. Oh, and in other news, we are

moving offices – to the previous premises of our friends and advertisers, Michael and Marlyse Carroll of the Inner Peace Centre, in East Doncaster, VIC. So while it is a plain sort of house (and no beautiful rose garden and blossoms like we have now) the energies are open, grounded and friendly because of M&M’s love and care over nearly nine years. We even have a couple of rooms to rent to practitioners, and one has a large infrared sauna in it too.

HOROSCOPE HOUSE

We would love a new salesperson,

part time or full time, or even working from home, to help us get through all our calls as, since the new edition, we have been unable to keep up with all the work. So please give me a call on 03 9899 5852 if you’d like to speak about that. We really need someone experienced in selling advertising though. I’d like to leave you with a quote

from Emily Bronte about dreams. John Goldhammer, in his powerful article on dreams and depression in this issue, used this quote, but we could not fit it on the page nicely – so here it is for you to savour. I must say, in my more banal way, that I agree wholeheartedly with this statement, as it has been my own experience. Indeed, I would recommend you read the article by Leslie Caplan on p.6 of this issue too, as she’s obviously got the same idea.

“I have dreamed in my life, dreams that have stayed with me ever after, and changed my ideas; they have gone through and through me, like wine through water, and altered the colour of my mind.” [Emily Bronte]

With love,
