Wilhelmina Barns-Graham opens at the Burton Art Gallery & Museum in Bideford this month with a collection of more than 40 of her landscapes made in situ. “This exhibition demonstrates her achievement as one of the fi nest landscape draughtsmen of her generation,” says Mel Gooding, who curated the show. “Her drawings have an analytic dynamism and diverse stylistic verve that is utterly original and distinctive.” The exhibition then visits the Perth Museum & Art Gallery in May. A second touring show, A Different Way of Working,
