The Technology
Installed in early 2008 the new Lighting Laboratory is already proving invaluable in the ongoing Research and Development at Ring Automotive. The state of the art laboratory is equipped with the latest light imaging photometer and supporting software.
The equipment measures the light intensity and colour of any light source on test from 1 million pixels and at different angels simultaneously, providing data not previously available from conventional tests.

The light output and light colour readings from the Lighting Laboratory gives accurate comparisons of like for like products which identifies the performance benefits of Ring Automotive products over its competitors.
