Everyone likes to make good investments with their money and the 2012 Show me the


Money Show held at the Los Angeles Equestrian Center, February 9 thru the 12thproved to be a good investment! With cash prizes and beautiful weather – just


showing up was a good investment. Investing sponsors received many perks


including; gift packages, pre bedded stalls, personal- ized parking spaces, ban- ner space and an entry into the Sweepstakes Horse Race held on Casino Night. Congratulations to Nance Renfro on a 500.00 return on her investment by win- ning the horse race. All Class winners


won casino chips to be used at the Casino Night exhibitor party. Southern California Quarter Horse Exhibitors Association hosted the popular Casino Night and com- plimentary dinner. Each exhibitor had a chance to win big with a free poker hand. The casino chips won at the gaming tables were turned into tickets used to win awe- some prize packages. The Spin the Money Wheel was a


big hit on Sat and Sunday for all class winners. The money wheel offered prod- ucts and cash to the lucky winners. Thanks to Track One Events


Management Team the show ran very smooth and ended each day early enough to enjoy the evening events. Exhibitors were able to attend the Friday night Casino party and on Sat night the PCQHA Awards dinner. Congratulations to the All Around winners!


NoviceYouth Champion went to Cori Cansdale and Skys big Leaguer. Madeline Valdes rode her horse, Oscar Attraction to win the Reserve Novice Youth All Around. Novice Amateur was Amy Bisher and RR Ask No Questions. Reserve Novice Amateur went to Bonnie Sheren with Gold N Pearls Galore. The All Around Youth was– Natalie Kazemi and Shesa Smokin Memory and the ReserveYouth award


went to Carol Thomsen with her gelding Zippos Petite Prince. The All Around, Amateur Champion was – Michelle Nehrig and Arts Sweettobascobay. Shelly Shepherd with Imagine This Kiss won the Select All Around, with Kim Portney and her horse Lucky N The Moonlight winning the Reserve Champion All Around award. Winning a class circuit award had good pay back as well. Each winner won a ball cap and an entry into a drawing for $500.00 The 500.00 circuit drawing winners were: Janet Fowler, Ashley Flores and Sydney Dingman. A special feature at the show


was the “Money Cube”. Selected show participants were able enter into the cube and grab as much blowing money as pos- sible in 30 seconds. How many shows do you attend where they just give away money? I guess that is why they call it – “Show Me the Money”
