Our first Knightsbridge Silver sale of the year features over 450 lots of antique and collector’s silver. The sale commences with a selection of Objects of Vertu, including a collection of miniature silver, followed by a small amount of electroplate and Modern silver. The Continental section features a fantastic six-piece Japanese silver tea and coffee service and tray among further Oriental silver, along with a selection of European and Eastern items. The sale concludes as usual with Antique silver including a collection of silver wine funnels.

This sale will include furniture, clocks, rugs, works of art, books, pictures, prints, European ceramics and glass and two private single owner collections. Items of particular interest include Sir Fitzroy Maclean’s four poster bed, a set of six chairs attributed to Frank Lloyd Wright, two good Dublin tables, a Howard and Sons daybed, a fine collection of mostly American studio paperweights, two rare pieces of pottery by Stella R Crofts and examples of Fairyland lustre, early Moorcroft and a collection of pictures by Danish artist Niels Simonsen.
