On Tuesday, December 8, 50 CHA volunteers were feted at a Volunteer Party with the CHA staff at Vigilucci’s restaurant in downtown Coronado. Besides the wonderful meal, Visitor Center Manager Katherine Matlack made sure every volunteer came away with a gift certificate or other token of our appreciation. We couldn’t do what we do without this dedicated corps of people who help us all year long with everything from manning the Visitor Center information desk, processing mailings and serving as tour docents, to transcribing oral histories or otherwise helping us enhance our collections. Our thanks go to the businesses who donated the gift certificates, and to Vigilucci’s for providing such a lovely venue and lunch.
