Dormer concerns scupper conversion ANDREW Halliday’s planning application for a loft con- version at 1 Lacy Close, Allington, was refused due to the proposed rear dormer. Maidstone Council felt this window would “overwhelm


the rear roof slope and appear obtrusive, causing unac- ceptable harm to the character and appearance of the street scene”. The decision notice urged the applicant to replace the
