Looe TIC scoop award


At the recent 2011 Visit Cornwall Tourism Awards, held at St Mellion, Looe Tourist Information Centre retained the Bronze Award for TIC of the Year for the fourth year running.


Described as providing a ‘fast and friendly’ service by the awards team, the small office located in the centre of the town continues to excel whilst other TICs around the country are forced to close down.


Manager Mark Camp said: ‘Every year we enter the awards hoping for gold but no matter how hard we try we can not better the girls at Bodmin.


‘On a tight budget and with very little space the team do what we can, and I can’t ask for better than that.’
