TIM O’NEIL & MARTIN HEADLAND Tim O'Neil

creates champi- ons. After a very successful rally ca- reer in which he won several US, Canadian and North American Championships and drove fac- tory-backed cars for Volkswagen and Mit- subishi, Tim O'Neil started Te Team O'Neil Rally School. Tere, on over 600 acres of land and over 10kms of custom made gravel roads, he teaches both novice and expert alike in the fine art of rally driving. Te system obviously works as alumni of the school include current WRC driver Ken Block and Chris Duplessis, who made his WRC debut at Wales Rally GB this year. Last year's Super Production and 2WD champions in the Rally-America championship are instructors at the school. Train with the best and you will be the best. Tim's approach is that you must learn to drive

a slow car fast before you try to drive a fast car fast. Tat means starting with a two-wheel-drive car. To this end he has partnered with Ford Rac- ing to bring the Ford Fiesta R2 to North Amer- ica. Tese are the cars used by the WRC

Academy - identical cars being driven by young drivers - as they hone their skills on the testing roads of the World Rally Championship. Tim is bringing two R2s to Tall Pines with the second car being driven by the Rally-Amer- ica 2WD champion Wyatt Knox. Long time partner Martin Headland will be Tim’s Co-Dri- ver. Te event marks their 40th start with 28 class wins and only one DNF.
