The paper bag used as the pack- aging medium and developed by Vanderschoot is a carrier of embedded flower seeds and the propagation element for it’s afteruse. In the Luxury category whisky reigns supreme with Ballantines Finest Equalizer gaining Gold via the designers - The Core - for the first self contained electro luminescent pack. The glass bottle is held in a plastic base holding the magic electronics. Ideal for the many night-clubs and bars around. For Healthcare Cope Allman Jaycare gained Gold for their child resistant spray closure system. Of great use for those pocket size require- ments.

for Fudges Food Services SRP. A clever two-tier design allows extra counter space for the Fudge packs being sold. On the Transit side the Business to Consumer sector provided an excellent one piece corru- gated pack for the transport of shrubs. DS Smith at Burwell were the clever pack engi- neers for this Gold award. Fi- nally the Business to Business winner came from the Auto- motive industry for a strong


protective pack for Bentley UN pack. DS Smith Tri-wall divi- sion were the able providers of this well constructed “Gold” pack.


As you can see there is a


wealth of ideas here again and all were rewarded for their efforts at the Awards Dinner held in the Landmark Hotel, London. I eagerly await the en- tries for 2011. Turning to our world of
