The 1921 building that housed the dance depart- mentwas one of the oldest on campus.Visitors are amazed at the transformation because very little about the floor plan remains the same. The interiorwas entirely gutted, taken down to the outside walls and original support columns inside. The dedication ceremony ofErma LoweHall occurs onNovember 10, 2011.

Ms. Schweitzerwas also a long-timemember of LakeCitiesBalletTheatre in Lewisville.


in the nation Legislatorswill soon consider pro- posals that put the income tax deduction for gifts to 501(c)(3) organizations at risk.Congresswill be looking at PresidentObama’s jobs bill that proposes limiting deductibility for charitable gifts to 28%for higher income tax payers, which could reduce charitable giv- ing by asmuch as $7 billion per year. This proposalwas also includ- ed in the President’s FY12 budget proposal.
