waxmark Coding with wax

Highly topical: The Waxmark system places the emphasis on environmental compatibility in contactless product coding by using a combination of wax and resin with colour additives as the print medium. In this process, the resin is melted in a heating chamber and then processed by a piezo print head as “molten ink”. The wax melting chamber has an intake capa- city of approx. 100 ml. The equipment’s wax supply is monitored by way of a level regulator. An integrated LED signal lamp indicates when refilling is required.

The print results achieved by the Waxmark are impressive. It can produce 1 to 4 lines of text with a maximum font height of 10 mm. One additional advantage of the system: the wax particles cool immediately during the coding process thus very quickly rendering the coding erasure-proof.
