County Funds available for local projects; Get your bids in now!


Each County Councillor has a budget of £10,000 each year to give to projects in the area they represent.


Malling County Councillors are Valerie Dagger, Trudy Dean, Sarah Hohler, Peter Homewood and Richard Long. Last year Trudy Dean's fund was allocated by members of the public who attended a community budgeting event. They awarded grants to Blacklands Scout Group, East Malling, for heating equipment; Kings Hill and Larkfield First Responders for more equipment, West Malling Village Hall for new chairs; Malling Photographic Society for a new projector; Malling Action Partnership for a PA system; and Eynsford Concert Band for a children's concert held at Malling School.
