East Malling Research Station Music Club at Bradbourne House. Eden-Stell Guitar Duo, the UK’s top guitarists will play the Tango Suite by Piazzolla, Tonadilla by Rodrigo, arrangements of Mompou, Rameau and much more. Saturday July 23 Kings Hill Summer Fete. 10am – 3pm at the Kings Hill Community Centre. Come and join in the fun!


Sunday July 24 Farmers’ Market, West Malling High Street. Over 27 regular stalls selling a wide range of local produce and goods. 9.30am – 1.30pm.


Sunday August 7 Tonbridge and Malling Ramblers meet at 10.30am, Asda, Kings Hill. Four-mile circular walk around the new country park, graded leisurely, dogs on leads welcome. Details from walk leader 01732 220477.


Thursday August 18 Free live music, in the garden (weather permitting, or inside!) at the King and Queen, East Malling. Glenn Barnes performs classic rock and pop covers from 9pm.


Saturday August 20 Malling Stamp Club’s mini stamp fair at the Clout Memorial Hall, West Malling High Street. 10.30am - 3.30pm


Sunday August 21


Malling District Lions charity walk in aid of the Prostate Cancer Support Association.


There will be three distances to choose from to suit everybody’s capabilities. Walks start at 9am from East Malling Research Centre. For pre-registration contact 01732 841078.

Duo Isaria: violin and harpsichord. Top violinist Rebekka Hartmann, with Caroline Bergius, will play sonatas by Corelli, Bach and Vitali (chaconne) and Ysaye’s solo violin sonata in E major. Starts at 8pm. Tickets at the door are £10, children free.

Kings Hill Rotary meets every Monday at 7pm at the Spitfire Pub.


Malling Rotary meets on Tuesdays at 7pm at the Duke of Wellington Pub.


Malling Photographic Society meets every Tuesday at West Malling Village Hall, at 8pm.


Chip Productions Drama Group meets on Fridays at 7.30pm at West Malling Village Hall


The Heath Players meet on Fridays at the East Malling Institute Mill Street, at 8pm.


West Malling Women's Institute meets on the 2nd


Wednesday of each month at the Clout Institute, High Street, West Malling at 7.30pm.


Malling Stamp Club meets at the Clout Institute, WM High Street, at 7.30pm on the second Tuesday of the month.


Shin-gi-tai Karate Club meets at West Malling Village Hall, Wednesdays 8pm-10pm - Adult karate and self defence. Thursdays 6.30pm - novice & junior.
