Spring is, indeed, one of my favorite times of year.


Mother Nature is


affording mild temperatures and colorful blooms outside, while inside my students are teasing me by behaving as if they’ve actually heard some of what I’ve been saying all year. I can see and hear their improvement since the fall, and perhaps more importantly, I sense that they can too.


It was very rewarding to see so many of Alabama’s student musicians involved at each division’s All-State event.
