Jemma Marie-Hanson was honored for her efforts on behalf of patients and caregivers by the Central Brooklyn Independent Democrats in April. Hanson was among five


honorees, including Congressman Anthony Weiner, heralded by the group at its 42nd Anniversary Dinner. The event was held April 10 at

2007 by state Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver and is the board chair for the


Meadowbrook Medical Education and Research Foundation which assigns grants to specialties in the hospital. She also serves on the Medical and Professional Affairs Committee, the A. Holly Paterson Extended Care Committee and the Community Health Center Committee.” “I was humbled and very pleased to
