BEARSTED'S first fish spa has opened at GREAT hairdressing in Weavering Street. A total of 625 garra rufa fish
have taken up residence in the TheOast's roundel - and the little beauties are ready to give you the ultimate pedicure! That's the promise of Kim
Brandham who has started GREAT spa as a separate business upstairs, above the hairdressing operation, for which she is company secretary. She has formed a partnership
with long-term friend Louise Baker. The two have transformed the beautiful roundel to create a tranquil setting. They have installed five bespoke tanks, each holding 125

The garra rufa fish, known as ‘Dr Fish’ for their therapeutic properties, belong to the carp family. Native to the Middle East river basins,
freshwater fish are known for their numerous healing benefits and effectiveness in exfoliating, cleansing and softening the skin. The treatment is great for stress relief, relaxation and increasing blood flow.
