Can Jews believe in Yeshua (Jesus) as Messiah and continue to be true to Jewish traditions of the faith?
NOTEworthy
Every time I visit Israel, I am reminded that Israel is the center of the world. In essence, all prophecy begins and will culminate in this tiny piece of otherwise obscure real estate.
God chose Jerusalem as the place where His Name would reside forever, and the topography of the location testifies to this fact by the existence of three valleys that circumscribe the city. It is seen in the Hebrew letter “shin”—the first letter in the Hebrew name for God, Shaddai. This letter is formed by three appendages, three appendages echoed by the valleys of Jerusalem.
Israel, the Land, and its People scattered throughout the earth have suffered untold tribulation. However, God has preserved for Himself a remnant here. It is said that Israel is a divine time clock. One needs only to watch her to know what “time” it is in God’s eternal economy.
Is it any wonder that the
enemy works so diligently to destroy Israel and push back the hands of time that spell his eventual demise?
About This Issue Israel’s Jewishness is often resented by the world.
Israel is the center of the world.
The Islamics want
to eliminate entirely Jewish citizenry and claim Jerusalem as their own. The virulent specter of replacement theology that paved the way for Hitler’s crusade against the Jews continues even today to permeate the Church by the hand of an anti- Israel/pro-Palestinian agenda. And although this generation survived the Holocaust and saw Israel reborn out of its ashes, the attack through anti-Semitism is relentless.
What then stands between this satanic-inspired movement and the preservation of this Beloved People and Nation? The answer for now is YOU. You in support. You in prayer. You staying informed of the truth and how best to respond.
This issue of Jewish Voice Today is meant to equip you to pray effectively for this Nation’s preservation and Jerusalem’s well
being. God bless you as you prepare for the work ahead! —Sarah
