Multicultural City Dundee is increasingly international and multi-cultural. It is home to permanent residents from many countries and ethnic groups – from Belgium to Bangladesh, from Chile to China, from Italy to India, from Poland to Pakistan, and from Taiwan to Turkey. Our international community means that within easy reach of the campus, you can find:

• specialist food shops, e.g. Halal butchers, Chinese, Polish and Russian supermarkets, and the major UK supermarkets also supply a wide range of international foodstuffs

• places of worship for many faiths, including Muslims, Sikhs, Hindus, Jews, plus many Christian denominations

• schools which are well equipped to support children for whom English is a second language, and who may arrive in the city with little or no English.
