Dundee Facts • Located on the east coast of Scotland, one hour north of Edinburgh, on the banks of the River Tay.

Cultural Quarter The University’s city campus is located at the heart of the city’s lively cultural quarter, with a host of excellent cafés, restaurants, galleries and museums located within a 10 minute walk.


The award winning Rep Theatre (www.dundeereptheatre.co.uk) is adjacent and home to Scotland’s only full-time acting ensemble and the Scottish Dance Theatre. The Rep hosts a mix of stage productions including, drama, musicals, contemporary & classical dance, comedy, jazz and opera.


Alternatively, Dundee Contemporary Arts (DCA - www.dca. org.uk) offers art-house and mainstream films in a two-screen cinema alongside a contemporary art gallery, a print studio and the University’s Visual Research Centre. (www.vrc.dundee.ac.uk)


The Whitehall Theatre (www.whitehalldundee.co.uk) hosts a variety of shows from West End performers to local amateur groups.
