Shalom! Dearest Ministry Partners and Friends, Eliseangela, Li’el and I wish you a very happy and blessed New Year. We trust that 2011 will be counted among your best year ever—a year that is abundant with peace, love, faith, and fruitfulness. Here at Jewish Voice, we are busy implementing strategic goals for 2011 that far surpass our most ambitious plans for one year ever! In another communication to you, I mentioned that we are beginning work on a dramatic television special with the help of Michael Landon Jr. that will air in primetime on secular television networks later this year. As you know, our current television program, Jewish Voice with Jonathan Bernis, primarily reaches a Christian audience and airs on Christian stations
Shalom!
2011 Hear O’ Israel! Festival of Jewish Music & Dance. I pray that you will join us for one of these important outreaches. We need you! These are only a few of the many projects well underway
already in 2011. There is much more that space does not allow me to share. I will keep you updated on other important news throughout the year. On a personal note, we are proud to announce that our family is expanding! In March, we will welcome another precious little daughter to our home, and we are thrilled. Elisangela and I appreciate your prayers and well wishes for our family. Again, we wish you a fruitful and prosperous
year in the Lord. I thank you for your partnership in the Gospel, and remind you that your prayer and financial support is vital in enabling us to reach out to the Jewish People and to the Nations with the love of God. You are a blessing!
May God bless you richly in the coming New Year!
in an effort to fulfill part of JVMI’s mission to educate the Church on the Jewish roots of her faith. While it has also proved to be a good way to attract some Jewish People to faith in Yeshua (Jesus) as Messiah, this new program will be very different. This format will be much broader in scope and influence than we have ever ventured into before. I believe it will become our greatest evangelistic thrust to the U.S. target market. By focusing on the miracle of the rebirth and survival of the nation of Israel, we anticipate this special will have instant attention-grabbing appeal.
Further, we will provide materials designed for both seekers and those who are already Believers by partnering with local churches and Messianic congregations to follow up on every individual who responds! Although it is a huge investment for a ministry of our size, we believe that God is calling us to undertake this new outreach to the largest population of Jewish People in the world, who live right here in America. Now, you may ask if we will discontinue our medical/humanitarian outreaches to the Lost Tribes around the world, and the answer to that question is a definitive “No!” Our initial 2011 calendar already includes three outreaches to the abandoned Jews of Ethiopia, and a return to minister to the Bnei Menashe of India, bringing large medical teams of doctors, nurses, eye surgeons, and dentists to meet the needs of these destitute and suffering communities. This is the most ambitious medical/humanitarian outreach schedule we have ever taken on. One of these outreaches will bring humanitarian/medical aid to the newly discovered Ethiopian Jewish community known as the Gefat, numbering between 20,000-30,000 in Woliso, a region south of Addis Ababa. This people group has been around for some 800 years. History records that they were originally blowers of the shofar (trumpet), but became a rejected, isolated people. Our friend and UK board member, Gerald Gotzen, originally discovered this new community. We were warmly welcomed by about 200 villagers in early 2010, who claimed we were an answer to their prayers. You can just imagine how that made me feel! We must provide whatever assistance we can to these precious Jewish People. In addition, we will soon be returning to Argentina for our
