mustang magic to showcase top mustang trainers at fort worth stock show
Twenty-five Mustangs trained by some of the top-placing Extreme Mustang Makeover trainers set to compete at Fort Worth Stock Show in 2011.
Georgetown, Texas,
November 9, 2010 – The mystical powers of America’s wild horses will be displayed January 21-22 as the Mustang Heritage Foundation presents Mustang Magic at the 115th Southwestern Exposition and Livestock Show in Fort Worth, Texas. Some of the top Mustang trainers in the nation will display their horseman- ship skills as 25 Mustangs compete at the third annual Mustang Magic.
Admission to Mus-
tang Magic is included with general admission tickets to the Southwestern Exposition and Livestock Show. Grounds admission is just $10 for adults and only $5 for kids ages 6-16. Last year, the Mus- tang Magic crowd overflowed the John Justin arena so plan to arrive early to get a great seat.
With just more than
100 days to not only gentle but also teach the Mustangs basic riding maneuvers, the trainers will be displaying their incredible horsemanship skills throughout the event
while vying for a place in the top-10 finals. As a special treat,
Eastern Extreme Mustang Makeover Youth and Year- lings Champions Amanda Sharp and Docs Little Brown will perform their award-win- ning routine during Mustang Magic. Jumping through a ring of fire and jumping a line of barrels with just a single stride between each jump, Sharp and Docs Little Brown wowed the crowd in the Youth Yearling division at Murfrees- boro, Tennessee. Docs Little Brown is a 2009 brown geld- ing gathered from the Green Mountain herd management area in Wyoming. Sharp and Docs Little Brown will travel from Brandon, Mississippi, to Fort Worth, Texas, to show that extreme horse power can come in smaller packages. Following the Janu-
ary 22 finals, the public will have the chance to adopt the talented Mustangs that competed in Mustang Magic. Each Mustang goes to the highest bidder. Adopters must be preapproved by the Bu-

At Mustang Magic
2010, Tennessee Thunder, a 5-year-old sorrel American Mustang, proved he was at the top of his game when trainer Chase Dodd leapt from a small trampoline, onto the gelding’s back and then stuffed a basketball into a hoop to a standing ovation. With the unlimited imagina- tions of the trainers and the amazing ability of the Mus- tangs, fans attending Mus- tang Magic will have many surprises in store for them and won’t want to miss this one- of-a-kind competition. Imagine A Horse at Sound Horse Conference - Our dem- onstration titled “It’s Not Just Tricks” allowed Lady C to help Sue demonstrate that Imagine A Horse Training is really about Equine Agility. Lady C is an ambitious exhibition horse and performs at liberty. The louder the music and the larger the crowd the bigger she gets! She did everything that I asked of her with her usual larger than life flair! Thanks again to Sh- eryl Crow for donating Lady C to FOSH as our ambassador horse!
