Using selected dressage and western demo riders - including NRHA Futurity Open Champion Craig Johnson and 4-Star Parelli Instructor Trevor Carter, Mr. Zettl will demonstrate and discuss the application of dressage techniques in several equine disciplines. Mr. Zettl’s focus on the trust, unity and communication of horse and rider is an integral component of all equine disciplines.
Walter Zettl, international dressage clinician, trainer and author, coached the Canadian Young Rider team to numerous medals and served as dressage coach for the Canadian 3-Day Eventing team in the 1984 Olympics. His many books and videos focus on dressage principles and the harmonious relationship of the horse and rider. Zettl believes harmony, clear communication and the circle of trust are integral to all equestrian disciplines. He’ll adapt classical dressage techniques for all disciplines.

Craig Johnson
Multiple NRHA Futurity finalist and AQHA and APHA World championship trainer, Craig Johnson’s lifetime NRHA winnings exceed $1,000,000! He was a member of the 2002 gold medal WEG rein- ing team and a three-time medalist at the USET Festival of Champions. Johnson has ridden with Walter Zettle in the past and is excited to ride with him again.
Trevor Carter
A 4-Star Parelli instructor and horse development specialist, Trevor Carter has traveled with Pat and Linda Parelli and taught at Parelli study centers in Pagosa, Australia and in the United King- dom. Dedicated to constantly futhering his education, Carter is excited to ride with Mr. Zettle in this symposium.
