Why are these horses so happy? They all have

NOSODES Nice article on Nosodes [June/July 2010, Issue #67]. I work with a homeopathic vet and I sell equine, canine and feline nosodes. Most clients have over-vaccinated their horses, cats and dogs and want to continue to protect them in a more natural way ... we were able to make up the Pigeon Fever Nosode with the help of local vets who pulled blood, puss and scrapings for us and it has been effective in areas of outbreaks!

BIOFEEDBACK One of my clients turned me on to an article on your website about Biofeedback for horses. Very good! I too am a Biofeedback and pain specialist. A couple of years back I added a high powered Pulsed Magnetic Field device to my practice. It is amazing

for pain and inflammation; a friend of mine uses it for horses. If you would like an opportunity to use a device for a week to 12 days I can get that arranged through the company (www.pulsepowernow. com/equine -- the clip right below the free trial form made me cry the first time I saw it). Keep up the amazing work! -- Robin Mize, www.pulsepowernow.com, www.scionow.com

NUTRITION A comment on “Feeding in Sync with Instinct” - It won’t work for Fjords! I feed mine mainly hay, with senior feed for the oldsters. Tey get about 4-5 feedings a day, including hay snacks. If they had access to hay 24/7, or decent pasture 24/7, they would be too fat! Nice magazine! -- Jean, Fairbanks, Alaska with four Fjords, ages 15, 23, 33 and 35

Dr. Juliet Getty’s response: All horses are designed to graze nearly all the time and will respond instinctively by eating only what they need, when given hay free choice. Consider these few things to help this process along. First, have your hay analyzed. Its percent continued on p 41
