The checks in the following 53 lots, for the most part issued in the 60-year period from 1865 until the start of the First World War, are catalogued according to W. Bryce Neilson, A Thousand Guineas: a checklist of imitation guineas and their fractions (Llanfyllin, 2003). All are sold in identifying packets.
