to another at the state Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) about the option to “go green” with the online version of The Communicator led to more than two dozen members switching over in a 48-hour period in May. “We just wanted to remind our
members about this option,” said Wayne Bayer, a PEF Executive Board member at DEC. “PEF has had a lot of hot-button issues lately with the state. But I am impressed our members took the time to do this. We are planning a statewide labor-management meeting in mid-July, and have put this on the agenda.
