They haven’t even reached the legal age to vote, but a

trio ofMedicineHat junior golfers already have the skills and ability to compete at a very high level and all three have their sights set on American university golf programs. Dillon Batsel, a 17-year-old Grade 12 student at

MedicineHatHigh, will soon make a decision onwhat NCAA school he will be attending in September. “I’ve narrowed it down to two schools, Oregon State

and Texas-El Paso,” said Batsel, who plans on visiting both campuses in the next couple of months. “Both have a lot of pros. I like Texas because of the warmer weather, but it’s a longway from home and I think might be more of a cultural shock for me.Oregon State would be closer to home and has had real good golf program the past few years.” RyanWerre, a 17-year-old Grade 12 student attending
